About Dr Kammi B Gunton

Dr. Gunton is a Board Certified ophthalmologist who has sub-specialized in Pediatric and Adolescent Ophthalmology and Strabismus in adults. Her goal is to put the "I care" back in Eye Care for Children, combining years of experience with the latest in technology and training.

Dr. Gunton is a graduate of Stanford University and received her medical degree from the University of California, San Fransisco in 1995. She completed her internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and pursued her residency and fellowship training at the Wills Eye Hospital. She trained under Joseph H. Calhoun M.D. for both her residency in ophthalmology and fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology. Subsequently, she practiced at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children for several years, and then joined Dr. Calhoun in his practice of Pediatric Ophthalmology in July 2003. Dr. Gunton has published several articles including topics such as congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction, turned out eyes (exotropia), crossed eyes (esotropia), surgical technique reviews, genetic eye diseases and case reports of interest to other pediatric ophthalmologists.

She is a devoted wife and wonderful mother of three children, as well as a caring and skillful physician.
